This drawing is fun for me to look at, simply because I know how many sketches I went through before I got this pose to work the way I wanted it to. A lot of the early sketches were stiff, and it took a while before I ended up with the right dynamic feel I wanted.

Fun fact: I had to look up tutorials on YouTube for waltzing in order to figure this one out. So…that was fun. Actually, it really was fun.

Additionally, her dress was originally supposed to be gold with red accents! But it kind of got lost in her hair (or her hair got lost in it, rather), and so I flipped the colors around and made it red with gold accents.
