I’ve always wanted to be able to draw people and characters, but for a while, I felt unhappy with every result, and began to think I couldn’t draw people at all. After a particularly low point in my self-esteem, a friend gave me a peptalk, and I, inspired, went out and drew a couple of…random faces. After those turned out relatively successful, I decided to draw something a bit more complex than just a face…and this drawing is the result.
I stuck with greyscale, because—well, it sounded like a fun challenge for one—but I also wanted to focus on drawing the people and not have to worry about color theory or anything like that.
