This drawing kind of…grew as I was drawing it. I started with nothing but a color palette and started doodling… and along came the idea of the silhouetted girl. I started drawing that, and…then along came the idea of the shooting stars. And I kept drawing and ideas kept coming, until eventually I sat back and this was what I’d done.
A lot of my drawings end up coming about that way, honestly. I very rarely start out with a full-fledged idea.
